Online shops that wants to sell on foreign markets need their products translated.
You could offer an app that lets merchants choose what products you should translate.
Once you have translated the products the merchant should be able to download the translations in a file that they can import into their ecommerce platform.
What do you get from Goaddon?
By subscribing to the Goexplore addon you get a website that online shops can use to sign up.
By subscribing to the Gofetch addon you enable the merchants to import their products into your database.
If you install the explorer-at-goexplore repository, your website even get a products page that you can add the relevant buttons to.
What do you need to build on top of it?
So by now you have a website where a shop can sign up, import their products, and see them in a list.
Your first job would be to add button to that list where the merchant can task you with translating their products. Because there could be many products it should also be possible to select multiple products.
Your translaters should have access to your website as well. You could give them superuser accounts, because they have access to all regular accounts.
For these superusers you could create pages with overview over translations waiting to be done.
These pages could direct the translators to a product page with the original product texts are to the left, a translate button in the middle and empty text fields are to the right.
When the translator pushes the translate button the text should be automatically translated through the Google Translate API and inserted into the text fields to the right.
The translator can review the translation, edit it and save it.
Once all products are translated the merchant can download them in a file and upload it to their ecommerce system.
How fast can you build it?
You could probably build a proof of concept version in 4-5 months.
